The 2023 GRCA Hunting Test will be held in beautiful Scio, OR
Welcome to the 2023 Golden Retriever Club of America National Specialty Hunt Test. The Golden Retriever Club of America is a member of the Master National Retriever Club and the Master Amateur Retriever Club. The tests will be held on the property owned by the Zellners in Scio, OR. We thank the Zellners for the use of these grounds. This event, like all National Specialty events, is only able to function because of the generosity of landowners and the dedication of the judges, volunteers, and the workers.

GRCA, will create a waiting list for MH entries that are received after the test has filled but prior to the published closing date. If, after closing and up to the start of the MH test, there are entries that are known will not be participating, dogs may be taken from the waiting list to run in the position of the absent dogs. ONLY dogs that are on the waiting list are eligible for the open positions (no substitutes).
Dogs called from the waiting list shall be prioritized in the order the entries are received. GRCA will contact the next person on the waiting list if known scratches occur after the closing and no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the test. If called, you will have 12 hours to return the call if you want the next position or it will go to the next person on the waiting list and your name will drop to the bottom of the list.
